Silk Screening
Silk screening is the process of pushing a variety of inks through mesh on a “screen” to print artwork on tee shirts or any other garments.
Here are the different kinds of prints we offer:
1. Plastisol: basic printing, bold and bright
2. Soft Plastisol: basic printing, bold and bright, but softened
3. Four color process: we can take a picture and through this process we can silk screen that picture on to a shirt
4. Discharge: eats away the color of any dyed shirt, very vintage and has no feel when run your hand over it, almost like bleaching your design
5. Water base: basically dying the shirt, instead of printing ink on top of the shirt making it so you can’t feel the print at all, very soft
6. Foil: shiny foil can be applied to garments
7. High density: raised ink
8. Flocking: feels and looks like velvet
9. Metallic: we have very shiny and also muted metallic colors
10. Polyester Ink: good for printing on 100 percent polyester garments
11. Stretch Base Ink: good for printing on ribbed tank tops, yoga pants, bikini’s and stretchy rash guards
12. Glitter: comes in Crystaline (glitter inside of a clear glue, or actual glitter)
13. Reflective Ink: great for being out at night
14. Glow in the Dark Ink: glows in the dark when you shine light on it first
15. Heat Activated Ink: changes colors in the sun or with body heat
